"These Miniature’s came about through what can be called "situation play" or what I’ve been calling “circumstantial style”. The moments that happen at a cafe with friends when you’ve run out of things to talk about, so you start making patterns with

The mechanical parts come from my Job and the images are cut from a magazine called House Beautiful. This soothed my indecisiveness of what to make. The universal part in mechanics is something I’ve considered while making these. Even though the ima
I used alot of food imagery because food can have an eternal beauty that I’ve now attempted to read as a part that is no longer ephemeral.
Also there is a relatable aspect to a machines existence and it’s that they require fuel and are oily. This resulted in some of them looking like food machine chimeras. Their kind of like hors d’oeuvres. I like that on some part of the Eiffel Tower
